Drawing on more than 14 years of firsthand childcare experience as an early childhood educator, teacher, caregiver, and childcare operator, Jovelyn personally architects EverNest’s workflows and directs its voice interactions, safeguards, and teacher experience.
“I was entering a child’s care information into our childcare software when another child nearby was bitten. I responded immediately, but that moment revealed the problem clearly: documenting care was competing for the same attention the children needed from me.”
That experience became the reason I started building EverNest—a voice-first coworker designed around the real rhythm of childcare.
Teachers care deeply. Throughout the day, they notice a milestone, a change in appetite, a bump, or something a parent will want to know. But before they can document it, a child needs them—and an important thought can be left unfinished.

Working from firsthand childcare experience, Jovelyn taught herself product design, software workflows, and AI-assisted development. Step by step, she transformed the idea into an interactive MVP and personally continues to direct how EverNest works, communicates, and supports teachers.
